Huo Qintong

This morning, I was a little bit bored so I took my pen and I started sketch up girl.

Huo Qintong was a fictional character, written by Louis Cha (Jin Yong), in his novel, Romance of Book and Sword.

It had been adapted several times into TV series and once into two movies, Romance Book and Sword and Princes of Fragrance.

I have written about historical background here (in Indonesian language):

Trivia:
Huo Qintong was written as an older sister of Princess Fragrance.

Princess Fragrance herself was a real character although the written history were different with the oral history. Giuseppe Castiglione, an European painter who were in China during the time of Kangxi to Qianlong had painted her in an iron armor. The above picture were taken from page 76 of  Wang Guangxi's book, Chinese Kungfu, published by Cambridge University Press.

Si Buta Dari Gua Hantu and Sapu Jagad

Sapu Jagad helped a helpless woman who has been suffered from Mata Malaikat. He promised the woman to bring Mata Malaikat's head.

However, once he found the villain, the latter had been defeated by Barda, Si Buta dari Gua Hantu. Envy and jealous, he attacked Barda.

Batman and The Anarky

Anarky is my favorite bat-villain. The idea of someone who can spray graffiti in Batman's cape and have a goal to make a better world amused me.

In fact, thanks to Alan Grant and Norman Breyfogle, I started to understand that anarchy doesn't mean chaos.

Anarky have been appeared in both TV series Beware the Batman (cartoon) and The Arrow and both appearance disappointed me. In Beware the Batman, Anarky was reduced to simple a Joker-wannabee while in The Arrow, Anarky was simply a rogue ex-mercenary.

Anyway, this is my inspiration, drawn by Norman Breyfogle.

Julie from DPO

DPO (Detachment Police Operation) is not a good movie as you expected from Aa Gatot Brajamusti.
However it has several interesting moments. One of them is where Jullie (played by Nabila Putri), stabbing people using spoon.

Alan "Sheriff Nottingham" Rickman must be proud

Oktober 2015 - Superhero

I was going to test my commitment for Inktober 2015 but I found I lack of motivation. So I only draw 2 pictures.

The first picture was cross-over between Setan Jalanan and Valentine.

The second pictures were characters from Jagoan Comic (Guntuger, Zantoro, Winda, Blacan).

Kristin

This is my last wife.
Somehow I always imagine her as a flirty, naughty woman.

Mewarnai foto hitam putih Armored Batman

Nah,
akhirnya aku penasaran utak-atik mewarnai dari foto hitam putih tadi.

Aslinya seperti berikut:
