Anoman and "Anoman and Trijata"

Anoman is a character whom I most draw. The character itself was interesting since he was half a god, a quarter of human, and a quarter of monkey.


The first picture present Anoman and Trijata. Trijata was a she-devil (Raksasi), a daughter of Vibisana and also Ravana's niece.

I always present Raksasa tribe had blonde hair such as my previous drawing. Sometimes I also draw a skull accesories to present their blood lust.

In Ramayana story, Trijata was ordered by Ravana to guard his captive, Sita. When Anoman was sent by Rama, he met Trijata who accompany Sita. In some Javanese version, Trijata also show the escape route for Anoman. In some minor Javanese version, both Anoman and Trijata falled in love and got married.

The background of the picture can be the forest surrounding Alengka (if the story take a place when Trijata show escape route from Alengka to Anoman) or Taman Argasoka (if the story take place Trijata let Anoman met Sita).

The second picture is another version of Anoman.

The girl who falls

Sometimes I'm tempted to draw an interesting scene. This picture, for example, were challenging because you have to imagine the right perspective, the distance between the falling object (the girl) and the street, the right angle, and so and so and so..

It is a sad thing that I couldn't draw him better... sigh...

Batman dan Batman versus Superman

Meneruskan posting Batman sebelumnya, kali ini aku menggambar tema Batman 2 kali.

Yang pertama terinspirasi dari Batman-nya Alex Ross tetapi tentu saja dengan cita rasaku.


Yang kedua, terinspirasi dari The Dark Knight Returns-nya Frank Miller. Namun, alih-alih menggunakan kostum super tebal seperti di TDKR, karakter yang kugambar menggunakan kostum yang lebih ramping namun tampak seperti armor seperti The Dark Knight yang disutradarai Christoper Nolan yang akan datang. Aku membuatnya tanpa melihat referensi sama sekali, sehingga bisa dibilang, rancangan kostumnya berasal dariku.

atau jangan2 langsung muncul filmnya?

Two-face hanya muncul sekilas dalam trailer terakhir dan itupun ditampilkan sisi Harvey Dent dan sedang bersedih dengan revolver di tangan kirinya.

Gambar Two-face yang kubuat merupakan perkiraanku berdasarkan adegan sekilas tersebut (tampak bintik2 bekas luka bakar dan tidak terlalu simetris), komik (seperti The Long Halloween), dan sebuah gambar yang diduga merupakan gambar konsep Two-Face, apalagi pihak Warner Bross meminta situs2 yang menayangkan gambar tersebut diturunkan.

Diwarnai dengan pensil warna merek Lyra (yang cuma 12 warna).

Di bawah ini adalah gambar versi kecil berukuran 140 atau kurang yang dirancang untuk jadi avatar.
